Former Los Angeles Chargers star working again Austin Ekeler plans to signal a two-year deal price as much as $11 million with the Washington Commanders, a supply advised ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.
Forward of the 2023 season, Ekeler, within the closing 12 months of a four-year, $24.1 million contract he signed in 2020, requested a commerce after he and the Chargers could not conform to a long-term extension. Ultimately, Ekeler returned on a revised cope with added incentives.
Ekeler, 28, had one of many worst years of his profession in 2023. He averaged simply 3.5 yards per carry, struggled with drops and had simply 5 dashing touchdowns after getting 25 mixed the 2 earlier seasons.
