Not like the nightmare-turned-film Snakes On A Aircraft starring Samuel L. Jackson, maggots on a airplane actually occurred.
The terrifying incidence apparently went down on a current Delta Airways flight scheduled to fly from Amsterdam to Detroit. Based on an account from a passenger supplied to Fox2Detroit, he noticed a couple of dozen maggots, not snakes, fall from an overhead bin and land on a feminine passenger seated subsequent to him.
Whereas maggots didn’t begin spewing from each overhead and or cabin storage orifice within the airplane just like the film, the supply of the difficulty was practically as unsettling. Apparently, flight attendants found the maggots had been the results of a passenger’s carry-on bag, which contained “rotten fish” wrapped in newspaper.
In fact, the airplane diverted again to Amsterdam and was taken out of service for cleansing. What occurred to the lady you ask? Customers on Twitter (X) are speculating Delta provided the lady compensation within the type of a $30 meal voucher and a measly 8,000 miles.
