Killer Mike has spent the final a number of days defending himself on social media. The rapper/entrepreneur had a specific gripe with MSNBC political contributor Dr. Jason Johnson.
“[Someone] inform this LIAR, I’m NOT a Trump surrogate. It takes an evil quantity of willful ignorance and vanity to lie like this to the individuals. Disgrace on [you], liar,” Killer Mike tweeted about Jason Johnson on Saturday (February 24).
The four-time Grammy Award winner continued, “Whoever raised [you] to lie [should] be ashamed. Have [a] good day, y’all. Stand on fact even in disagreement. Don’t LIE.”
After Jason Johnson obtained tagged in one other Killer Mike tweet, the Morgan State College professor responded to the Hip-Hop recording artist. Johnson wrote, “Hey @KillerMike I didn’t name you a Trump surrogate this morning. Return and really watch the clip. Joyful to speak this out instantly anytime.”

Killer Mike then went on a multi-tweet diatribe directed at Jason Johnson and different social media customers. In a single occasion, Mike quote-tweeted Johnson with a message asking to be omitted of conversations concerning the 2024 presidential contest.
“I watched. You place my identify [too] shut [to] the ‘Trump surrogate.” Those that don’t like me can/will use that to slander me. Those that don’t perceive will assume the worst. I merely ask don’t put me in that identify or this race in that approach. Love & Respect. I’m all the time welcome to talk,” Mike acknowledged.
As well as, Killer Mike repeatedly reposted a clip of Jason Johnson discussing him and Donald Trump on MSNBC. The video featured Johnson saying, “Donald Trump, Killer Mike, any of his surrogates, any rapper he obtained out of jail… it’s about retaining individuals dwelling [from the election polls].”
Killer Mike endorsed Unbiased Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders within the 2016 and 2020 Democratic primaries. Sanders misplaced each races. Dr. Jason Johnson has been a critic of the Sanders marketing campaign. In 2020, the College of Virginia graduate caught warmth for his remarks about Black ladies backing Sanders.
