A number of organizations joined forces to rejoice the work of songwriters at a Grammy Week occasion in Los Angeles on February 3. The Digital Media Affiliation partnered with the Black Music Motion Coalition, Music Artists Coalition and Songwriters of North America to host A Songwriter Salute: Creatives, Congress and Cocktails.
“Songwriters deserve recognition and celebration for the important function that they play in bringing music to life,” Digital Media Affiliation president and CEO Graham Davies stated. “DiMA works carefully with creator advocates and was proud to current our Grammy occasion: A Songwriter Salute. A Songwriters Salute added to a busy Grammy Week for the Black Music Motion Coalition.
