Younger Thug’s lawyer Brian Metal prevented spending the weekend in jail for a contempt cost within the YSL RICO trial. The Georgia Supreme Courtroom granted bond to Metal, who was held in contempt and sentenced to twenty days behind bars, in a ruling on Wednesday (June 12).
“Pretermitting whether or not this emergency movement for supersedeas or the associated enchantment fall inside this Courtroom’s jurisdiction over homicide circumstances … we hereby grant a writ of certiorari as to each the emergency movement and the enchantment of the contempt order,” the court docket declared. “When the enchantment of the contempt order is docketed within the Courtroom of Appeals, the Courtroom of Appeals is directed to switch that enchantment and document to this Courtroom.”
