Will Smith detailed how Vanessa Hudgens’s being pregnant influenced the filming of “Unhealthy Boys: Journey or Die” after an actors’ strike disrupted manufacturing.
Filming for the action-comedy, which had already been paused resulting from an actors’ strike, confronted extra issues when manufacturing resumed, as Hudgens returned with a child bump.
Will Smith revealed in an interview with Leisure Tonight that the crew needed to adapt their capturing schedule to accommodate Hudgens..
“So the strike occurred and when she got here again and we needed to end the film, it was actually about attempting to determine the best way to shoot across the bump,” Smith defined.
Regardless of the logistical hurdles, Smith admired Hudgens, describing her as “a tough employee” who was decided to finish her scenes.
“I advised her, ‘No, don’t fear. You’ll at all times be capable to inform your baby that they had been on this scene with you,’” he added.
Hudgens, who joined the “Unhealthy Boys” franchise in 2020 as weapons professional Kelly, revealed her being pregnant when she confirmed off her child bump on the Oscars in March.
Married to baseball participant Cole Tucker, the 35-year-old actress has since shared what followers can count on from the brand new installment.
“We actually leaned into the truth that Will and Martin Lawrence are a bit older and issues are altering. They’re not essentially working on the pace they as soon as knew,” Hudgens advised ET. “It’s enjoyable to be round and I believe there are quite a lot of stomach laughs and it’s action-packed. It’s going to be a fantastic film.”
“Unhealthy Boys: Journey or Die,” through which Smith and Lawrence are reprising their iconic roles, will hit theaters on June 7.
